Christine holds a BCom and ACA, and has previously worked in accounts roles across the retail and manufacturing sectors.
I am a true Cantabrian, born and have lived here in Christchurch all my life. I studied and received my Business Diploma while my children were young, and then 10 years later finishing my Bcom and obtaining my ACA. I have always been in an accounts role of some sort and initially started in the retail sector and then moving to manufacturing.
Working for Cambridge Partners has given me appreciation of what this company does and what strict controls/compliance it follows to protect their client funds. It gives me a good feeling working for a growing reputable company.
My role here is a part-time position and working with the team at Cambridge is rewarding. While the work ethics are high, the atmosphere is relaxing and supportive.
As the accounts were previously completed by external services, the decision to bring this role in house required an in-house accountant. My extensive background in accounting systems, administration, communication and my qualifications suits this position well.
The people, the team, the management. We are all on the same page, working and caring for our clients and having fun doing it. The culture here has a good vibe and we care about each other and it shows.
I enjoy getting away most weekends to our bach at Motunau Beach and playing golf. I enjoy practicing yoga and socialising with friends and family.
