Firm History

It all began with the idea to do things differently.

Bradley Nuttall Ltd

Bradley Nuttall Ltd was founded in Christchurch in 1994 by Dave Bradley, Andrew Nuttall and Jacob Wolt.

Bradley Nuttall was founded with a view to providing objective, and unbiased investment advice. With years of experience working with financial institutions that focused on selling their own products, the advisers recognised the need for investment advice that was free from conflicts of interest or commissions and puts clients' interests first.

Our Name And Logo

The name Cambridge, with its connotations of academic excellence and historical significance, suggests a foundation of knowledge and tradition. It’s fitting that our origins are tied to a location steeped in its history, Christchurch’s Cambridge Terrace, where the first Cambridge Partners’ office was located. This connection grounds our identity in a sense of place and continuity, linking past, present, and future.

Furthermore, the term Partners in our name is a powerful declaration of our business ethos. It speaks to a philosophy of collaboration and mutual growth, highlighting the importance we place on relationships rather than transactions. It is a model where success is shared, and the clients’ well-being is paramount.

The incorporation of the Greek letter Phi (φ) in our logo is a thoughtful choice that resonates with a deep appreciation for both aesthetic beauty and mathematical harmony. The Golden Ratio, often symbolised by Phi, is indeed a fascinating phenomenon that appears in various realms of life, from the spirals of galaxies to the proportions of the human body. It’s a concept that has intrigued philosophers, scientists, and artists alike for centuries. By aligning Cambridge Partners with these principles, we pay homage to the rich historical and cultural significance of the Golden Ratio but also reflect a commitment to balance and excellence.

Our logo and name together form a cohesive narrative that tells a story. It promises not just a service but a partnership that values clients’ aspirations and strives to achieve a perfect balance in all endeavours. This approach is likely to resonate with clients who are looking for more than just expertise; they are seeking a connection that aligns with their values and vision for the future.
