Pip has been part of Cambridge Partners (previously Bradley Nuttall) since 2007, following a career in sales and leadership roles at Air NZ. She came to us looking for a change that would allow her to grow and to use her management and leadership skills she honed in the airline industry, to help people to organise their finances.
Drawing on her own life experiences, Pip is uniquely placed to advise, with emotional awareness, how life events and stages in women’s lives influence their finances to then be able to present solutions to fit their particular situation.
Pip worked in the asset protection side of the business initially, and her passion for putting clients first was a significant motivator in this role, She wanted to ensure the right protection was always appropriate and in the best interest of the client as she saw the difference this made to their circumstances.
After becoming a financial adviser, Pip took the opportunity to help people more holistically, with their whole-of-life financial affairs.
Today, Pip is part of our collaborative, multi-disciplinary advisory team. She continues to be passionate about helping clients to clarify their goals, working with them to optimise their financial position, so they have the confidence and freedom to enjoy the things in life that matter the most to them.
Pip is incredibly energised about helping women through life transitions, so they attain and retain financial independence. Her ability to build positive relationships helps her clients quell their anxieties and provide the confidence their decisions are prudent so they can move forward.
She very much enjoys being part a professional firm passionate about financial planning to transform client’s lives for better.
Prior to joining Cambridge Partners I had senior roles in the travel industry, so this was quite a change! Until recently I was working with clients looking at their asset protection – assessing risk and putting strategies in place to help them protect their finances.
I loved working with the clients so decided to take it a step further and completing my studies so I’m now working with them on their overall wealth strategy.
Financial well-being is so important, but getting personal finances in order can be a daunting task. For this reason, many New Zealanders end up with costly investments that do not suit their circumstances. I love the opportunity to help people with this, and see the peace of mind that comes from having your financial affairs in order.
I think one of my key strengths is my ability to build positive relationships. This is so important in helping people feel confident about handing over details about their financial affairs, which they’ve often rarely shared before.
I love being part of a great collaborative team environment where the strengths of all team members are called upon to ensure clients’ receive the best service.
I also really enjoy working with people to ensure they are financially secure, and able to achieve their goals.
Money means different things to different people. By putting a well-designed plan in place, people are able to make wise decisions that will help them achieve the goals that are important to them.
I am a committed Cantabrian and in my spare time I enjoy running, travelling and playing golf. I also love spending time with my husband Jamie and my three adult sons are all graduated or at university, and live nearby.
