Cameron spent 15 years working in London, first working at a hedge fund before moving to the banking sector. Upon moving back to New Zealand, he decided to pivot in his career and move into the wealth management sector.
I left for London on a two year OE straight after university. That turned into 15 years working in the world’s largest financial centre. Initially, I spent a few years at a systematic hedge fund before joining Credit Suisse and then Deutsche Bank, working in Equities, Foreign Exchange and Futures. We moved back to New Zealand in 2018 and I took the opportunity to redirect my career into a wealth management role.
I enjoy the interaction with clients, helping them create a plan and finding solutions for their specific goals.
I’m quite analytical so I also enjoy the opportunity to be part of the Cambridge Partners Investment Committee and ensure our clients' investment options continue to develop.
Mostly, I am a taxi driver for my 4 kids and their many activities! However, when I get a chance I like trail running and training for multi-sport. I’m also a member of the board of trustees at our local primary school and a couple of sports committees.
